Float and setting is firstly a product called Hardwell that is applied to the wall as an undercoat to which when it is applied, making sure it is nice and flat in doing this.
It is then ruled with a straight edge Then once the product has drawn to the wall it is then devil floated and ready for skimming.
Float and setting Is commonly used in kitchens and also useful being done up stairway walls where furniture being moved keeps disruption to an absolute minimum.
